The maritime industry is increasingly dependent on technological innovation in order to deal efficiently with the challenges of the world market, which is why, whit the energy industry, is becoming the most interesting target for cyber attacks.
The aim of the event is to inform decision-makers in the maritime and port sector about threats that could impact on operation and business and to address possible risk containment actions that pass through the interaction between three distinct elements: human factor, processes and technology.
As part of Cybersecurity, the human factor, as in any economic sector, is the greatest risk factor that can be controlled through continuous and permanent training of maritime industry professionals through the use of Advanced Simulation systems.
